Sage Spread: Communication

Sage-starThe Sage Archetype is about relating and communicating effectively. This layout is useful to consider how you craft a message.  Not everyone receives information or a communique in the same fashion or through the same senses. When using this Spread you are being prompted to consider the real content - vital and germane ideas or instructions; and its context i.e. within the situation and who the person is that you are delivering it too. Communication is a two way exchange not simply a pronouncement of your Will. Yet even a demand can be made effectively when worded and delivered with precision.
  • Card 1. Message - The real communication/meaning you are trying to convey. Is this consistent with the words or actions your are employing?
  • Card 2.  Receiver - Who is the audience or person you are trying to reach?
  • Card 3. Tone - How is the message best delivered? Spoken, written, or by actions?
  • Card 4. Misunderstanding. The quality or belief that is most likely to distort your intentions. Theirs or yours.
  • Card 5. How you will be received. The quality of the outcome. If a Shadow pole is posted, their is a possibility you are deluded in what you are saying or that the listener has preconceived notions that block it.
What is conveyed in this layout is the energy influencing your desired outcome.  Ask wisely. Use the feedback wisely.
